Lord of the Springs!

Who besides our God can create something from nothing? The answer is No One! In the beginning God merely said "Let there be"... and the atmosphere had no choice but to yield that which was spoken. It could not deny the almighty God of His demands. I am so blessed to know that I serve the one true and living God. The creator of Heaven and earth. He is Lord of all!

In my study of the scriptures, I am always in awe at the mind and provision of God. While recently reading about Samson, the bible says that after he had defeated a group of Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey, he was weakened and thirsty, but Samson did not forget where his help comes from. Judges 15:18-19 reads...

"Because he was very thirsty, he cried out to the Lord, “You have given your servant this great victory. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?” Then God opened up the hollow place in Lehi, and water came out of it. When Samson drank, his strength returned, and he revived. So, the spring was called En Hakkore, and it is still there in Lehi".

Because Samson called out to His deliverer, he received deliverance. Because he cried out to the strength-giver, he received strength. This should encourage our hearts to know that even out of nothingness, God will cause a spring to rise in our empty places; simply because of His love for us. My sisters and my brothers, have you ever cried out to God from and weak, thirsty or an empty place? If you are in a place of pain, cry out to Him. If you're overcome with stress, cry out to Him. Even if you're overtaken in a fault, still cry out to Him! Do not let any devil in hell keep you from crying out to the Lord your God. There and only there will you receive your En Hakkore. He is just a cry away family and He is Lord of the springs!
